According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), taking stock of Milan’s situation, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara were present at the training ground. The Rossoneri are entering an important phase and the technical department want to show their support.
As mentioned, there was also a lot of talk about Gattuso, who was just one point away from securing Champions League qualification with Milan last season. Perhaps, per the report, there are more than a few regrets at the club today.
The Rossoneri replaced the Napoli manager with Marco Giampaolo, who was sacked after just two months on the bench. There has been great improvement since Stefano Pioli arrived, but perhaps it would have been better to keep Gattuso from the start.
