Sky: Maldini and Massara to leave as Milan prepare for revolution with Rangnick

By Isak Möller -

There will be many changes at AC Milan after this season, both on and off the pitch. Ralf Rangnick is expected to lead the youth revolution at the club and with that, he will get a lot of power.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, CEO Ivan Gazidis and the German manager had a meeting to discuss Milan’s vision and an agreement between the parties is all but announced.

The Rossoneri’s managerial staff is expected to remain more or less the same, with a few additions expected, while Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini should leave. Geoffrey Moncada, the current chief scout, will get a bigger role and suggest signings to Rangnick.

It will be a club based on young people, as the report continues, with Rangnick at the helm of it all. The RB Leipzig director has brought small teams to glory in the past and although Milan isn’t a small team, they must return to the top.
