Sky: Milan all-in for Bologna defender as deal could close at €20m – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Milan have been very active on the transfer market thus far, linked with several players as there are still some positions to be filled. The priority, of course, is the defence and the emergency in the centre-back position.

Wesley Fofana’s transfer to Leicester was announced earlier this evening, meaning the Rossoneri will look elsewhere after the youngster was their first choice. By the looks of it, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have shifted focus to Bologna.

According to Sky Italia journalist Manuele Baiocchini, Milan are now going all-in for Takehiro Tomiyasu. The 21-year-old has played as a right-back for the most part but can also do well in the middle.

Bologna are asking for €25m to part ways with the defender and the deal could be closed at around €20m. As added by Pietro Balzano Prota, Tomiyasu isn’t the only name on the Rossoneri’s wish list but they like the player a lot.
