Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are currently working on the signing of a La Liga duo, which includes Brahim Diaz and Junior Firpo. Based on the latest reports, there is optimism that two agreements can be reached.
Starting with Diaz, he spent this past season on loan at Milan and did well especially towards the end of the season. According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are working on the buy-out fee for the loan with Real Madrid.
As for Firpo, it seems the move could be a permanent one and Milan are currently in negotiations with Barcelona over the deal. The potential transfer fee hasn’t emerged yet but Maldini and Massara certainly wouldn’t overspend.
It’s clear that the Rossoneri are determined to be fully prepared for the upcoming season, finally back in the Champions League after seven long years. And these signings, in addition to a few more, could be just what they need.
