Sky: Milan ‘one step away’ from completing Tonali deal as six other targets emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are close to being able to confirm the permanent signing of Sandro Tonali from Brescia and are working on other objectives, it is claimed.

Gianluca Di Marzio has given an update on Milan’s mercato during his segment Calciomercato L’Originale for Sky Italia (via MilanNews), confirming that the Rossoneri are ‘one step away’ from the purchase of Tonali. They will be conditions different from those of a few weeks ago as Brescia have opened up to granting a discount, with Primavera playmaker Giacomo Olzer in the negotiations.

Milan are also proceeding slowly on the other objectives, such as Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo who would become the new deputy to Theo Hernandez, plus Diogo Dalot who would be the back up to Davide Calabria, Brahim Diaz’s return from Real Madrid and the ‘difficult’ package deal with Chelsea for playmaker Hakim Ziyech, striker Olivier Giroud and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

  1. Does this look like a Scudetto/Champions league Team?

    —————– Maignan —————-

    Calabria ——Kjaer—–Tomori—-Hernandez
    Dalot Kalulu Gabbia Firpo

    Bakayoko Tonali

    Salemaekers Krunic Hauge

  2. The attacking deputies such as Salemaekers, Krunic, Hauge and Giroud doesnt feel very potent.

I think the midfield of Kessie, Bennacer, Bakayoko Tonali is really good (Luxury midfield).

Again the deputy defence feels weak with Gabbia and Dalot. If we can keep Romagnoli I think we should.

  3. Maybe change formation to fit Romagnoli in?
