Maurizio Compagnoni, of Sky, made an important statement today concerning Fiorentina’s Milan Badelj, who has been an AC Milan target for some time now.
“Badelj’s situation? It was clear that his agent was never going to accept a contract renewal with Fiorentina. There is a 99% chance that he transfers to Milan in January” he told Radio Toscana.
“Fiorentina will get in between €12million and €15million from his transfer to the Rossoneri.”
Milan Badelj has played in 12 games so far this season for La Viola, scoring one goal. Sousa’s Fiorentina haven’t had the best of starts this season as they are currently eighth in the Serie A standings with 17 points, which is eight points off third placed Milan (Fiorentina do have a game in hand that still has to be played). Badelj’s future was always been in doubt but Compagnoni’s words make things even more uncertain.
