Sky: Milan are ‘very interested’ in exit-bound Roma midfielder – the situation

By Isak Möller -

Given that Franck Kessie’s contract will expire at the end of the season, Milan are in the market for a midfielder. Several players have been linked with the Rossoneri are one of them is Jordan Veretout.

The Frenchman currently plays for Roma but has lost his spot in the starting XI as Roma signed Sergio Oliveira during the January transfer window. In addition, his performances have not been as good this season.

According to Sky journalist Angelo Mangiante, Milan like Veretout and are very interested in acquiring his services this summer. His contract will expire in 2024 and a renewal isn’t in the pipeline, meaning he could leave for a reasonable fee.

It remains to be seen if Milan will make a concrete attempt to sign the midfielder, as they have also been linked with Renato Sanches of Lille. Nevertheless, it’s becoming very clear that Kessie won’t be continuing his career at Milan.
