Milan have been very impressive in the first half of this season and they have their players to thank for it. Even in difficult situations, many of the youngsters have stepped up, but not all of them can play.
That is the case for Lorenzo Colombo, who has made nine appearances (all comps) this season. As Milan have brought in Mario Mandzukic to be Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s deputy, the 18-year-old will inevitably get little playing time.
Therefore, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky (via MilanNews.it), the striker could leave on loan before the transfer window closes. Two Serie B clubs, namely Brescia and Cremonese, have shown their interest.
It could be a good opportunity for Colombo to get consistent playing time, as he certainly won’t get it at Milan. Given his young age, it’s the most logical solution and the Rossoneri will be hoping that he will continue to improve.
