Sky: Milan’s probable XI for Crotone clash – Diaz, Tonali to make their first starts

By Isak Möller -

On the eve of the clash between Milan and Crotone, reports have arrived with regards to the starting eleven of the Rossoneri. At first, it seemed that Stefano Pioli wouldn’t make many changes to the XI but this has now changed.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, Ante Rebic will start up front after missing the Europa League clashes due to a suspension. This means that Lorenzo Colombo, despite doing so well, will be on the bench.

Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz will make their first starts for the Rossoneri, allowing Ismael Bennacer and Samu Castillejo some rest. The report suggests that the Real Madrid loanee will play to the right, with Alexis Saelemaekers on the left.

Three changes, in other words, to the starting eleven that played against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday evening. Given the tight schedule, it’s only logical that Pioli rotates a bit, especially when they aren’t facing any of the top teams.

Milan (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Brahim Diaz, Calhanoglu, Saelemakers; Rebic.
