Ralf Rangnick is getting closer to AC Milan. The German manager has been heavily linked with the Rossoneri and is expected to lead the imminent youth revolution, given his track record.
According to Luca Marchetti, speaking live on Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), Rangnick has asked to meet Elliott Management in person, the owners of Milan. The details are very important for him and everything has to be right.
Only after meeting the owners will the manager be able to make a decision on the offer, per the reporter. He’s known to work as both the manager and sporting director, meaning it will be crucial to understand what role Elliott want to give him.
Rangnick’s desire to change the course of Milan is very high but at the same time, he’s asking for a lot of power with regards to the decision-making, beyond the budget. If he joins, it will be a complete revolution, as Marchetti concludes.
