The three most used AC Milan players so far this season

By Isak Möller -

Eleven rounds into the season, AC Milan are struggling big time. Losing six games at the start of the season, they have been very inconsistent performance-wise. However, they haven’t been helped by the team selection.

After just seven games, the San Siro side decided to sack Giampaolo and replace him with Pioli. Of course, this resulted in many tactical changes, but also a ‘new trial’ for the players under the new manager.

Therefore, they have lacked consistency in team selection. However, three players have been used more than others: Romagnoli, Donnarumma and Calhanoglu, as highlighted by MilanNews.it. The three have been able to perform on a somewhat consistent good level.

Romagnoli has played a total of 990 minutes, which puts him at the top of the list. Donnarumma is just one game behind with 900 minutes, while Calhanoglu has racked up 8954 minutes so far. In other words, the trio has been used a lot by both managers.
