Three Milan players present on list of most valuable Italian U21 players

Despite the defeat last night, there’s no doubt that Milan have had a fantastic season, still competing for the Scudetto after 22 games. Not many would have predicted this at the beginning of the season, that’s for sure.

Although first place is now in danger, as a result of the loss against Spezia, the Rossoneri are still very much in the Scudetto race. The derby against Inter is scheduled for next Sunday and that game will be very important for both sides.

With a very young squad, Milan have managed to impress everyone. As you can see on Transfermarkt, taking a look at the top 10 most valuable Italian U21 players, the Rossoneri have three players present.

The players in question are Gigio Donnarumma (€60m, 1st place), Sandro Tonali (€32m, 4th place) and Matteo Gabbia (€9m, 9th place). Two of these came from the Milan academy and that is indeed encouraging to see.
