Four candidates who could replace Cristian Brocchi as Milan manager

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will kick off the 2016-17 campaign on the 7th of July and the rossoneri have yet to make a decision about their coach for next season. Cristian Brocchi will be in charge of the team if Berlusconi decides to keep the club, not selling a majority share to a Chinese consortium.

Marco Giampaolo is in pole if the Group represented by Sal Galatioto completes the club’s takeover, while, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two parties might pick the new manager together if negotiations will take longer than expected (the exclusive negotiation agreement expires on June 30th).

The Italian paper claims that the Serie A club have shortlisted three names that could be good for both Berlusconi and the Chinese group: former Man Utd boss Louis Van Gaal, Andre Villas-Boas and Frank De Boer.

Soon we’ll know the future of the club and the name of the next boss will come out shortly after.
