Tuttosport: AC Milan eye three January signings; the positions in mind

By Isak Möller -

With the January window just around the corner, Milan have three reinforcements in mind, following a poor start to the season. Hopefully, the arrivals can make them more competitive ahead of the second half.

As reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), the Rossoneri will strengthen three specific roles: centre-back, right-back and striker. Of course, other players may also arrive, but the guidelines have been set.

The big dream for the attack, as the report continues, is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The owners aren’t too keen on the operation, but the management are still considering the big Swede. Above all, the alternatives are few and all the roads seem to lead to ‘Ibra’.

As for the defence, Mattia Caldara could be the ‘purchase’ of January, recovering from his serious injury. Yet, the Milan directors are probing the market, per the newspaper. The most popular name remains Merih Demiral, who could leave Juventus.

For the right-back role, Lille’s Mehmet Zeki Celik tops the list, the report continues. Furthermore, Davide Calabria remains the favourite to leave the San Siro side, as he would guarantee a full capital gain, unlike Andrea Conti.
