Tuttosport: €10m offer not enough but Cagliari remain keen Milan on defender

By Isak Möller -

Davide Calabria could still part ways with Milan, although the rumours of a departure have slowed down in recent days. The right-back has ended up on the radar of Cagliari, who are keen on landing his services, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it), the Sardinians have already submitted an official offer to Milan, worth around €8m plus €2m in bonuses. However, this was deemed too low and Cagliari will have to increase their offer to have a chance.

The position of the Rossoneri is clear, as also admitted by sporting director Ricky Massara, and Calabria isn’t up for sale. That being said, any offers arriving will be evaluated by the club, seeing as there has been interest from Spain as well.

Milan have been linked with Serge Aurier in the past, as the newspaper continues, and bringing in the Ivorian to replace Calabria shouldn’t be excluded. For the time being, though, they are moving forward with Calabria and Andrea Conti.
