Tuttosport: Leao warns Inter with well-taken goal vs. Genoa – a key for Milan

By Isak Möller -

Rafael Leao managed to find the back of the net for the first time February on Friday, scoring the opener against Genoa. This has given him a much-needed confidence boost ahead of Milan’s clash against Inter.

The Milan clubs will face each other on Tuesday evening in the Coppa Italia semi-final. The first leg ended 0-0 and the Rossoneri will have the advantage of playing ‘away from home’ on Tuesday as the away goal rule is still active in the competition.

As highlighted by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), we got to see on Friday what Leao can do when he’s in good form. He managed to break not only his own goal drought but also Milan’s and that should give him a proper confidence boost.

He will have the opportunity to shine once again in the derby, as the newspaper highlights. He’s a key play for the Rossoneri and it will be difficult for Inter’s defence if he has a good day.
