Another name has come up in discussions with agent Fali Ramadani regarding the future of Ante Rebic, according to a report.
There is currently widespread speculation claiming that the Rossoneri are currently in talks with both Ramadani and Eintracht Frankfurt about the idea of making Rebic’s stay a permanent one before his loan expires next summer.
The Croatia international arrived on a two-year loan but no option to buy was included, and with the winger having scored seven goals in all competitions this calendar year alone, leading to rumours Milan want to tie up his signing early in a €25m deal.
According to the latest from Tuttosport though (via MilanNews), another surprise name has come up during talks with Ramadani.
The paper claims that Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic was also discussed as Milan are looking for a long-term partner for captain Alessio Romagnoli.
The Serbia international was also apparently brought up during talks with Fiorentina regarding a swap deal involving Lucas Paqueta (as per Alessandro Jacobone) with both valued at €30m.
