AC Milan are awaiting to hear an answer from striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this week having made him an offer, according to a report.
Ibrahimovic is Milan’s primary target for the upcoming transfer window, with the team’s goalscoring problem obvious having netted just 13 times in the opening 14 league games.
SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it) recently claimed that Ibrahimovic and Milan are getting closer and closer in terms of offer and request.
Meanwhile, il Corriere della Sera (as cited by MilanNews.it) even claimed on Sunday the dream of the Rossoneri leadership is to present Zlatan on December 15 at the club’s 120th birthday party.
Sporting director Ricky Massara poured cold water on the speculation when he spoke to Sky Italia ahead of Milan’s 1-0 win over Parma, claiming that there is no ongoing negotiation.
As per Monday’s edition of Tuttosport – as cited by MilanNews.it – Milan have presented their offer to Ibrahimovic and are now waiting for his answer.
The newspaper adds that the club’s leadership are expecting to hear back from the 38-year-old in the next week, despite Sinisa Mihajlovic’s suggestions that he could take until December 10.
