Tuttosport: Milan-Inter will be sold out shortly as tickets are moving fast

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan opened the sale of tickets for the first leg of the Coppa Italia against Inter earlier in the week and a lot of tickets have been sold already. The enthusiasm among the fans is clear and it should be a great game.

Just yesterday, the Rossoneri sold 10k tickets for the game as the third phase was opened, which is the general sale. 75% are now allowed at stadiums in Italy and that means there will be at least 59k fans present.

This was reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), stating that the tickets are selling like butter. It will certainly be a great atmosphere even with 75% (the last derby was only 50%) but a bump up to 100% would be fantastic.

Given that so many are vaccinated for Covid-19 in Italy now, it’s likely that we could see a completely full San Siro for the first time in a long while. Hopefully, that will be the case in the end.
