Tuttosport: Milan’s probable XI for Juve clash – three key men suspended

By Isak Möller -

After the game against Genoa was postponed, AC Milan are now gearing up to take on Juventus on Wednesday. After the first game ended 1-1, the return leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final will certainly be an interesting one.

In addition to the disqualified Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Theo Hernandez and Samuel Castillejo, Milan will also have to do without many of their fans. In fact, people from the region Lombardia aren’t allowed, due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

According to Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it), Stefano Pioli will replace Hernandez with Diego Laxalt, who returned from his loan spell at Torino in January. Not an ideal situation for the manager, but it’s the only option, unless he wants to play Calabria on the wrong side.

As for Castillejo, it will be a battle between Jack Bonaventura and Alexis Saelemaekers for the spot on the right flank. Depending on the formation, Ante Rebic is expected to replace Ibrahimovic, with Rafael Leao starting on the left.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Conti, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Laxalt; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Leao; Rebic.
