Tuttosport: Scudetto-esque reaction from Milan as they could increase lead

Milan bounced back yesterday with a 2-1 win away at Bologna, thanks to goals from Ante Rebic and Franck Kessie. After two consecutive defeats, it was certainly a relief to see the Rossoneri claim the three points.

As Tuttosport highlights (via MilanNews), it was a reaction that smells of the Scudetto, with Milan finding the right gear once again. A good ending to the game from Bologna wasn’t enough to cause an upset, with the away side holding one.

Inter also won their game (against Benevento), which means they are still just two points behind in the standings. Milan will take on Crotone at home and Spezia away in their next two games, while the Nerazzurri will face Fiorentina away and Lazio at home.

Then, of course, the two sides will take on each other in the derby, Arguably, Inter’s path to that clash is the toughest and Milan could increase their lead with two wins, which would be a great scenario ahead of the derby.
