Tuttosport: Three attacking options for Milan as Ibrahimovic will miss Genoa clash

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the game against Genoa next weekend as a result of the red card he received last night and it remains to be seen if it will be more. Therefore, Stefano Pioli will have to come up with an attacking solution.

As highlighted by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive), the manager does have a few options to replace the 39-year-old. Earlier in the season, both Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao have been deployed in the centre-forward role.

It seems the Croatian is in pole position to play there again, although he’s a very different striker if you compare him with Ibrahimovic. Leao is also an option but either way, both could switch places (left-wing and centre-forward) during the game.

The third option is Mario Mandzukic, who has finally recovered from his injury and is eager to prove his qualities with the Rossonero shirt. A lot will depend on his physical condition on Saturday next week, when the decision will be made.
