Tuttosport: Tough renewal talks expected for Romagnoli and Donnarumma; Raiola’s demands

By Nikita Fesyukov -

After finalizing the contract renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan will also look to extend the agreements of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessio Romagnoli with the club, as the management is preparing for yet another round of negotiations with agent Mino Raiola.

As reported by Tuttosport (via milannews.it), after the end of the transfer market the Rossoneri will focus on the renewals of their two pillars and negotiations are expected to be even more complicated than those for the acquisition of potential reinforcements.

The first of the two games, without a doubt, will be the negotiations for Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contract at the San Siro expires in 2021 and his extension is a priority for Milan’s future.

The ownership’s intention in this sense would be to renew the contract with the same figures with the addition of some bonuses, which, however, does not convince Raiola, who would like an increase in the fixed part of the salary. According to the Turin-based paper, the agent could ask for an exception to the rule on the wages dictated by Elliott.

As for Romagnoli, Raiola will probably ask for a raise for him too. The Milan captain’s contract will expire in 2022 and, in this sense, there is no lack of offers in the case of his potential departure.

  1. Sell Donnaruma, get Livakovic, amazing goalkeeper, quite young and will cost 2.5-3 x less than Donnaruma is worth now. Will make a profit and get rid of the idiot. We are also paying his brother so much money for nothing, get rid of that idiot as well.
