Pierre Kalulu and Charles De Ketelaere were two of the best players on the pitch for AC Milan yesterday. While the Frenchman made sure to protect the clean sheet, the Belgian got things started with the assist for the opener.
Despite their young age, born in 2000 and 2001 respectively, Kalulu and De Ketelaere showed their value to Milan in the 2-0 win against Bologna. There was even a sequence when the two combined from start to finish.
As you can see in the video below, after winning the ball, Kalulu used his pace to quickly make his way to the opposition half. He then handed over responsibility to De Ketelaere, who found the centre-back with a lovely ball. Unfortunately, it didn’t result in a goal.

I was at the game. It was a pure joy to watch CDK and Kalulu/Tomori couple. Our defence duo is just an absolute joy to watch. Their reading of the game, anticipation and speed are absolutely world-class. Thank you Maldini for getting us this absolute gem of a player – Kalulu – almost for free.
It’ll be a dream to witness Milan from the stands and that plan is in the cards
Agree! But I don’t know if its only me but I’ve seen Kalulu covers a couple of Tomori’s error in the last two games.
Last night if Giroud and Messias were replaced by Origi and Saelemaekers, Milan will play with very young squad. Origi will be the oldest followed by Maignan.
And if he had any vision and squared it to Giroud it would have been a tap in.
