SportMediaset reported earlier this week that former Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa had already signed for AC Milan, though the Rossoneri have not confirmed those reports.
Today, also La Repubblica reported that Arbeloa is very close to signing for AC Milan, as the San Siro side wants another defender. The paper mentions that Milan wants to sign the free-agent as Cristian Zapata will be out injured for at least another two months.
Arbeloa who originally is a fullback could, in other words, be one of AC Milan’s backups for the centre back position.
