Abraham and Camarda will be on the bench for Milan’s game against Lazio

By Isak Möller -

Tammy Abraham and Francesco Camarda will be on the bench tonight for AC Milan’s game against Lazio, given the injuries of Alvaro Morata and Luka Jovic. A special situation for the Englishman, who only signed his contract last night.

Milan completed the swap deal with Roma late last night, with Abraham penning his contract, and he could get his debut immediately. In fact, he has travelled to Rome to join his new teammates and will thus be on the bench tonight.

This was reported by various sources, including Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), and the youngster Camarda has also been called up. Noah Okafor, meanwhile, will be the starting No.9 for the Rossoneri as we saw against Parma.

Morata and Jovic are both out with injuries and should be back in action after the international break. However, the Serbian could leave the club before then as Milan consider him to be on the market, with a few options still possible for him.

All things considered, therefore, it’s possible that Abraham could get his debut off the bench tonight. Especially since he knows what it’s like to play against Lazio under pressure.

  1. Abraham and Camarda on the bench…okay. Calabria benched…great – he’s turned into a headless chicken anyway. Okafor starting…fine, let’s not write him off after one game in which the opposition packed the penalty box. But Terracciano for Theo??? I mentioned Fonseca possibly needing a psychiatric intervention in a previous article and this ain’t helping.

  2. Surely Carmada’s better off staying with the Futuro now we have four (4) OTHER strikers competing for one (1) position.

Even with two (2) out he’ll get zero minutes because Abraham will clearly come on so he’ll stay on the bench or get 5 mins.

Not exactly great for his development or confidence.

    1. I don’t really understand most Milan fans saying our youth team players ain’t ready.
Did you know how many players Barca have fielded from their B Team this season?
Camarda is not ready, neither is Zeroli nor Liberali. I bet they’ll have been given more time to play in a club like Barca because they surely know that they have the capacity to play.

    2. It is a great opportunity and development, cos,its gradually, he’s injected into the SENIOR PLYERS and get to know them Step by Step. This is my View. Forza milan!
