Milan have been working fast this transfer window to improve their squad. After signing Franck Kessié, they are now close to completing the signing of Lucas Biglia to further improve their midfield.
The long awaited wait for a new regista seems to finally be coming to an end after agreeing a deal with 31-year-old Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia. The Lazio captain’s contract is set to expire on June 2018 and is not looking to renew with Lazio after agreeing personal terms with Milan. He is set to be offered €2.5m with €0.5m in bonuses per season in a three-year deal.
According to FIFA agent Savini, Biglia to Milan is close to completion for around €19m. The only thing missing is performance related bonuses that are soon to be agreed with Lazio.
The news of Biglia to Milan is further backed up by Alfredo Pedulla who claims that the only thing missing from the deal is the approval from Lazio president Claudio Lotito, which could arrive by Wednesday.
What is clear is that Biglia wants Milan and has made it clear that he will not be renewing with Lazio. Lazio would be better off selling rather than watching him leave next year for free, thus the deal should be completed by the end of the week.
