Ag. Vangioni: “Sevilla would be a perfect place for my son’s style”

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan fullback Leonel Vangioni could move to Sevilla in the January transfer window, the player’s father/agent has told ABC.

“We are negotiating with them and Leonel would like to move to Sevilla,” Armando Vangioni stated.

“Let’s see how the situation evolves. Nothing has been decided yet, but we hope something positive for Leonel can happen.”

Vangioni joined Milan last summer in a free transfer from River Plate, but has been struggling with game time under Vincenzo Montella as the Argentinean defender has yet to play one single minute in any official game for the club so far this season.

In fact, his only appearances with the club came during mid-week friendlies, and his future is very likely to be far from the San Siro as the former River Plate man wants to get more game time.

“Sevilla would be a perfect place for my son’s style”, Vangioni’s father told ABC.

The two parties are now in talks over a possible January move and it should not be too difficult for the La Liga giants to persuade the Rossoneri to sell the player if he decides to leave the San Siro.
