Badelj’s agent: “No Italian team had enough money to sign my client”

By Nikita Fesyukov -

Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj has been an AC Milan target since the summer transfer window. According to the player’s agent, the Rossoneri and other Italian clubs did not have sufficient funds to sign the Croatian.

“No Italian team had enough money avaliable. Fiorentina simply wanted cash only,” Dejan Joksimovic told Fiorentinanews.com.

“He [Badelj] wanted to play in Italy. However, now we will try to expand the horizons in other countries as well. Fiorentina will also have to ask a lot less.

“If a transfer does not materialize, my client will stay in Fiorentina until the end of his contract. For us it is not a problem,” Joksimovic concluded.
