Brescia president sets asking price of over €300m for Milan, Man Utd target

By Oliver Fisher -

Brescia president Massimo Cellino has declared that he would not even sell prized young midfielder Sandro Tonali for €300million.

Calciomercato.com reported in September that Milan made a summer bid for Tonali – believed to be in the region of €15-20m – that was deemed insufficient, while the same outlet then stated not long after that Milan have not given up on the idea of signing him.

The 19-year-old has previously revealed his love for the Rossoneri, revealing that former head coach Gennaro Gattuso was his childhood idol.

FcInterNews.it recently claimed in the past that Cellino is ready to conduct an auction next summer with the starting price at €35m, with Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund also interested as well as four other Serie A clubs.

However, according to Calciomercato.com, Cellino has set the asking price a lot higher than the aforementioned figure.

The outlet claims that he told reporters: “Fifty million euros for Tonali? At the moment I wouldn’t sell him even for 300 million.”
