Milan have revived their interest in Martin Caceres amid an injury crisis seeing De Sciglio, Calabria and Antonelli out for an uncertain period.
The 29-year-old versatile Uruguayan has been a free agent since July and has also been heavily linked to Fiorentina.
This morning Sky Italia reported Milan’s interest in Caceres and this has now also been confirmed by the club’s official TV station Milan TV.
Adriano Galliani is set to meet Caceres this evening to discuss terms. Then in the next hours the player will undergo medical checkups and athletic tests to asses his physical condition.
Caceres failed his medical checkup with Turkish club Trabzonspor in January, which is why Milan will be very careful in assessments and will only materialize a deal if there are no issues.
