Carlos Bacca not leaving AC Milan despite rumours, says agent

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan star Carlos Bacca is being linked with leaving the Serie A giants in the January transfer window, amid reports of the Colombian striker not being on good terms with the Rossoneri boss Vincenzo Montella.

There are many clubs said to be interested in the 30-year-old striker including PSG and Bacca’s old club Sevilla. The AC Milan star visited his former club in the weekend sparking controversies among Rossoneri fans. The player’s agent, however, has released an exclusive interview with calciomercato.com explaining why the player traveled to Sevilla and confirming that  the player is not going to leave the club in the future.

“AC Milan have given Bacca permission to travel to Sevilla. He’s injured and couldn’t have played with the club, there is nothing else to say”, Sergio Barila has exclusively told cm.com.

“Sometimes journalists just write stories without checking facts first, we can’t keep all the stories under control. This problem doesn’t even exist. Bacca was in Sevilla and went to the stadium to watch the game. Bacca is the AC Milan player with the most appearances over the last two seasons as well as the best scorer. There are no problems with Montella, nobody can say that he’s going to leave AC Milan.”
