AC Milan have had contact with Napoli to discuss a possible move of Pepe Reina to the San Siro, according to calciomercato.com.
Yesterday, CEO Marco Fassone confirmed that an agreement was close to be found between the club and Gianluigi Donnarumma’s family.
However, even though The rossoneri have an agreement with Donnarumma for his contract extension, they are not sure that the player will pen a new deal as Mino Raiola has yet to given his green light.
Milan, are thus looking for a contingency plan in case the negotiations fall through. New reports are now claiming that Pepe Reina is at the top of the list as Milan inquired about the 34 year-old goalkeeper.
Donnarumma has been given 48 hours more to think about the offer of AC Milan which as confirmed by Fassone is the final offer from Milan.
Although the rossoneri are optimistic about a positive end of negotiations, they are still not completely sure that the 18-year-old goalkeeper will end up signing a new deal.
