Milan Badelj’s name is one of the most talked in the transfer market at the moment.
The Croatian midfielder has attracted the interest of Tottenham and AC Milan, and his agent is pushing the player out of the club.
This is due to the face that Fiorentina have yet to give him €600.000 commissions the two parties agreed when Badelj moved to the club from Hamburger SV back in 2014.
CM.com’s Daniele Longo has exclusively talked to the player’s agent Dejan Joksimovic.
Milan Badelj has been linked with a move to AC Milan recently, have you talked to the rossoneri yet?
“I’ve read it on the Italian papers but I’ve had contacts with no clubs yet. AC Milan are a top club and Montella thinks extremely high of Badelj, so much so he signed him at Fiorentina.”
Your client has recently revealed that he wants to play Champions League football next season, but AC Milan have not even qualified for Europa League. Could Badelj move to the club anyway?
“Surely, AC Milan won’t play any European competition next season, but they are a top club at the international level. They have history and tradition, it would be difficult to reject an offer of AC Milan.”
When are we going to have some more news about the future of your client?
“We are in no rush at the moment, he is on holiday until the 25th of July and we’ll make a decision after that date.”
