CM: Salernitana in talks with Milan over five players who could depart

By Oliver Fisher -

Sandro Tonali will not be the only exit from AC Milan this summer and they have opened talks with Salernitana over two possible departures, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that Milan are in various negotiations at the moment including for the potential signings of Marcus Thuram and Davide Frattesi, but also for those who could leave the clubs.

Among these players there are Yacine Adli, Lorenzo Colombo, Daniel Maldini, Matteo Gabbia and Marco Brescianini. Each has a different situation, but each are attracting interest from Salernitana.

Colombo was bought back from Lecce and will be evaluated in preseason by Pioli and at the moment it seems unlikely he will join Salernitana unless they put forward a very tempting bid, and the same goes for Adli too.

Gabbia meanwile – the last choice among the Rossoneri central defenders – can leave on loan. Brescianini has just returned from a loan at Cosenza, and is on the list of those who can leave permanently but a renewal is needed first.

Another name on the notebook is that of Daniel Maldini who returned from Spezia. Salernitana sporting director De Sanctis is ready to move with a loan not excluded.

  1. This makes no sense. “Brescianini has just returned from a loan at Cosenza, and is on the list of those who can leave permanently but a renewal is needed first.”

Why would he sign a new contract to leave permanently? Probably a mistake.
