Midfielder Franck Kessie still faces an uncertain future at AC Milan as Monaco refuse to give up on signing him, a report claims.
It was even suggested in that report that Milan have ‘begun talks’ with some of his potential replacements, however the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio then refuted those claims.
However, as SempreMilan.com learned on Sunday, Kessie’s future lies with the Rossoneri as both the club and the player have decided to continue together.
This will be the case unless there are sensational offers. For now, the bid from Monaco does not satisfy either Kessie or Milan.
Monday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera – as cited by Calciomercato.com – provides an interesting update on the 22-year-old.
They suggest that Kessie’s future at Milan is ‘still to be decided’ as Monaco have not yet given up on the idea of signing him.
The Ivorian – who came off the bench against Udinese – lost his man Rodrigo Becao at the near post from a corner, and the Brazilian headed home to score what proved to be the winner as Milan fell to an opening day defeat.
