SM: New talks planned for Correa; big updates on Kessie, Silva and Laxalt

By Vito Angele -

Between preparation delays and a market that is still open, Milan are getting ready for their season debut in Udine, scheduled for Sunday at 18:00 CET.

However, the Angel Correa situation is always on the minds of those in charge…

DEAL IN DEFINITION – As our transfer expert Vito Angele has told us, in the end Angel Correa should end up as an AC Milan player, presuming Atleti allow it to happen.

The player’s agent has spent the last few days in Milan, and is always in touch with the Rossoneri and is waiting for signals from Madrid.

The Argentine, according to those close to his entourage, sees himself as a Rossoneri player, with Milan having made a firm bid of €40m plus bonuses.

The same figure more or less will then be used by Atletico Madrid to sign Correa’s replacement in Rodrigo Moreno of Valencia, so in the end it would be an operation that pleases everyone. New contacts are expected between the clubs tomorrow.

Milan remain busy on the Diego Laxalt front, who for now has not yet found an economic agreement with Atalanta, though we have been told updates will arrive tomorrow.

KESSIE AND ANDRE SILVA: THE LATEST – As SempreMilan.com have learned, Franck Kessie’s future lies with the Rossoneri as both the club and the player have decided to continue together.

This will be the case unless there are sensational offers. For now, the bid from Monaco does not satisfy either Kessie or Milan.

Meanwhile, Sporting Lisbon made an approach to Jorge Mendes over striker Andre Silva, and now the Portuguese side are deciding whether to pay the €25million asking price, we have been told..
