CorSera: Mercato isn’t over for Milan with at least two signings on the way

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have already announced seven signings this summer, including loan confirmations, but they still have a few more in mind. In addition to Pietro Pellegri, Tiemoue Bakayoko is also close to the club.

This was reported by today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sera (via MilanNews), stating that Pellegri and Bakayoko will join in loan deals. The latter will make a long-awaited return to Milan while the former will return to the league where it all began.

In addition to them, Milan are still in talks with Bordeaux over the services of Yacine Adli. It seems that track is a bit more complicated, but it would be foolish to think that the Rossoneri are done on the market.

Tomorrow evening, the Rossoneri will kick off their season away at Sampdoria and the game could perhaps give the management a better indication of what is needed on the market.

  1. Given the available budget, Maldini has done so far a decent job. Yet we cannot ignore that we haven’t replaced Calhanoglu and haven’t brought a RW. Plus, renewal of Kessie hasn’t come yet. More, we lost a good opportunity of selling Samu to Getafe (6 mil would have been more than enough). If we do not win against Doria then the management should seriously address the final days of mercato. And it would be a strong signal that we do not have what it takes to win the scudetto

    1. I don’t think we are still strong enough for Scudetto but we ain’t behind if the team clicks well. One quality addition to the playmaker role and that should be enough to make us compete for the League.
for RW I think if we could even bring Ilicic it’ll be a pretty good option. However Playmaker is more important so I’d focus on that.

  2. Look at Zaccagni please. He’s a complete bargain and is super versatile. Can play AM, LW and RW… seems perfect to me especially for our budget.

  3. Zacaggni had a terrific game against sasuollo he is interested in coming to milan too and would be an absolute bargain plus home grown an all doing amazing deal get him or vlasic and run for adli as he can easily play on the right wing. You also have maldini as a rw option he isn’t bad has good potential and better than samu
