Ahead of the upcoming season, Milan are looking for a centre-back and a winger to reinforce the squad, among other things. However, they will struggle big time to land two of their targets, a report claims.
In recent weeks, the Rossoneri have been linked with Nikola Milenkjovic and Federico Chiesa. The two stars were missing in the presentation video for Fiorentina’s new home and away kit, fuelling the rumours that they could leave.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews.it), Milan are indeed interested in the duo but it will be far from easy to secure their services. The biggest obstacle, of course, remains the hefty price tags.
President Rocco Commisso are willing to part ways with the two but only on his terms. In this aspect, he is very similar to Lazio president Claudio Lotito, who is notorously hard to negotiate with. A deal for the two, therefore, remains unlikely.
