Di Marzio: Donnarumma happy to stay at Milan with no pressure to sell

By MaaxiAngelo -

The future of Gianluigi Donnarumma has been widely discussed this summer, but Gianluca Di Marzio is now reporting that he’s set to stay at Milan, at least for now.

Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain had been touted as a potential destination for Donnarumma, with reports last month suggesting that they had opened talks over a possible swap deal.

However on Monday night’s Calcio Mercato L’Originale, the transfer guru himself – Gianluca Di Marzio – claimed that Gigio is now set to stay at Milan after being heavily linked away with a move to PSG.

Donnarumma himself has never expressed any desire to leave Milan. On the contrary, he’s expressed desire to stay but was made been aware that Milan might be forced to sell due to FFP reasons.

The Diavolo are not in the same need to sell after their Europa League exclusion, which gave them room to breathe on break-even demands on their books.

Di Marzio does however go on to say that it remains to be seen if negotiations between Milan and PSG re-opens. But if they do, it will be on different conditions.
