Di Marzio: Modric talks continue as Boban wants the player

By Isak Möller -

During the show Calciomercato L’originale on Sky Italia this evening, Gianluca Di Marzio provided an update on the rumours linking Modric with a move to AC Milan.

The Rossoneri’s Chief Football Officer, Boban, is believed to be the source of the interest in the Croatian midfielder, keen on trying to complete what would be a big signing. However, everything will depend on what the player wants to do.

Furthermore, Milan reportedly would have to offer Modric at least a three-year contract worth €10m per season to even have a chance. When Real Madrid return from their pre-season tour, the situation will be more clear.

Recently, Boban mentioned that the Rossoneri won’t just sign young players, also keeping tabs on experienced players that could help develop the squad. In his minds, Modric would be the perfect player for this.
