Jordan Veretout is perhaps the most persistent name surrounding Milan so far this summer, and on Tuesday the first bid was launched.
With the departures of Andrea Bertolacci, Jose Mauri and Riccardo Montolivo at the end of the month confirmed, new boss Marco Giampaolo is in the market for midfield reinforcements.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have finallypresented their first offer to Fiorentina for Veretout, per Gianluca Di Marzio on Tuesday night’s Calcio Mercato L’Originale.
Fiorentina, however, aren’t satisfied with the offer with counterparts included and want more than what Milan offered.
Veretout himself is intrigued by the Rossoneri’s interest and would say yes to joining Milan. But Milan face competition for his signature as Roma have a better offer on the table for him.
Roma have offered the Frenchman a €3million-a-year season, as previously reported by Di Marzio.
