AC Milan are awaiting the decision regarding the contract renewal of star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Rossoneri have laid a new offer on the table, believeed to be a five-year deal worth €4.5million net per season.

Reports from newspaper Il Giornale on Tuesday morning state that in case of refusal or non-response, Fassone and Mirabelli are ready to launch plan B and look for a new goalkeeper on the market.

Donnarumma commented on his future in an interview with GQ Italia, clarifying that his will is to stay at the club.

“Milan is very close to my heart, but it is important that my interests are aptly represented,” the teenager said.

“Raiola was the first person to notice me and together with my family we formed a team to help me achieve my best interests.

“The management is new, but they know my will is to stay, but all of my needs should be satisfied.

“I am looking for a new apartment to house my entire family. Milan city center is a beautiful place, so maybe I will try there.”
