Five Milan players in international action today – from Maignan to Okafor

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan currently have eight players out on international duty and five of them will be in action this evening. From Mike Maignan to Noah Okafor, there are some interesting games to look forward to for the Rossoneri fans.

The international break has come at a good time for Stefano Pioli and his players, having struggled in the last few weeks. A total of eight players will not be able to ‘rest’, though, called up for international duty (see the full list here).

Today, five Milan players will be in action and this means the Rossoneri fans have something to look forward to. The most exciting clash is probably the one between the Netherlands and Ireland, with Tijjani Reijnders set to feature.

Olivier Giroud, Theo Hernández and Mike Maignan (France)

➤ France v Gibraltar: Saturday 18 November, 20:45 CET, Nice – Euro 2024 Qualifier

Noah Okafor (Switzerland)

➤ Switzerland v Kosovo: Saturday 18 November, 20:45 CET, Basel  – Euro 2024 Qualifier

Tijjani Reijnders (Netherlands)

➤ Netherlands v Ireland: Saturday 18 November, 20:45 CET, Amsterdam – Euro 2024 Qualifier

In the meantime those not called up for international duty will have a morning session at Milanello today. They will then have two days off, which makes sense given that the next game is on the 25th against Fiorentina.
