From England: West Ham and Wolves ‘eyeing £36m move’ for Milan winger

By Oliver Fisher -

Premier League duo West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both eyeing a move for AC Milan winger Suso, a report claims.

The Spaniard has been Milan’s main creative force since his arrival from Liverpool, amassing 23 goals and 36 assists in 144 games for the club.

However, his form has come under serious scrutiny this season, so much so that fans have protested about his place in the starting XI – something which now appears to be under threat.

According to The Sun, West Ham and Wolves are monitoring the situation and are considering a bid of £36m, which is equal to the €38m release clause currently built into his contract.

They reportedly believe that the Rossoneri ‘can be convinced into selling’ the 25-year-old given his poor form.

With the 2018-19 budget hanging over Milan’s head, owners Elliott Management may view Suso’s sale as a possible way to record a quick capital gain to help the balance sheets.
