AC Milan defender Cristian Zapata is attracting interest from city rivals Inter, according to a report.
Zapata, who has 6 months left on his contract is free to join any club he wishes, but is apparently waiting to see if Milan will meet his salary requests.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Inter are offering him a two year contract, with an option for a 3rd year.
Fenerbahce have also reportedly submitted two-and-a-half year contract offer for the Colombia international.
This morning manager Gattuso told reporters: “Zapata has been offered a contract renewal, he’s an important player for us and we want him to stay with us.”
Zapata has been with the Rossoneri since 2012; playing in only 108 games, scoring 3 goals.
