GdS: AC Milan’s strategy in January will depend on upcoming results

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are certainly in a crisis. After 12 rounds, the Rossoneri have only managed to claim 13 points in the league, currently sitting in 14th place in the standings. Therefore, they need to turn things around very soon.

With the January transfer window just around the corner, it could be an opportunity for Boban and Maldini to strengthen the squad. However, there are still five games to go until the month kicks off, which could be decisive.

As Gazzetta Dello Sport writes this morning (via MilanNews.it), the Rossoneri’s strategy on the market will heavily depend on the upcoming results. After a strong performance against Juventus, there is hope that they can change the situation.

Should the poor spell continue, per the newspaper, then a big signing (Ibrahimovic?) will probably be made. In any case, it will be interesting to see if Pioli’s men can build on the performance against Juventus, which certainly was a good indication.
