In addition to Olivier Giroud, Milan could also reinforce the squad with a young striker this summer. After all, Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic aren’t exactly getting any younger, with a plan for the future needed.
As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the name at the top of Milan’s wish list is Santos star Kaio Jorge. His contract will expire in December but he could arrive earlier than that.
The likes of Juventus and Napoli are also keeping tabs on the 19-year-old. In order to beat the competition, therefore, Milan could decide to up €10m on the table this summer, which would be enough to convince Santos.
Should they decide to wait until December, then it could get even tougher for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. Napoli and Juventus may be interested, but the feeling is that the Rossoneri are in pole position as things stand.
