AC Milan are not giving up on signing Gianluca Scamacca and offering a counterpart could be key in negotiations with Sassuolo, a report claims.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), a meeting at the end of the season between Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and Sassuolo’s CEO Giovanni Carnevali was expected, but there is currently no confirmation on when this will take place and if there are any scheduled at all.
What is clear is that Milan are interested in Scamacca especially with the news that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out until 2023 after undergoing nee surgery. The Neroverdi have already set a price of €40m for the Italian striker, especially after he renewed his contract towards the end of the campaign.
Milan are also thinking of possible counterparts to be included in the negotiation to lighten the cash sum required, with Lorenzo Colombo and Marco Brescianini – who spent the season on loan to SPAL and Monza respectively in Serie B – plus potentially Marco Nasti or Daniel Maldini being considered.
If darwin nunez is too expensive. Then scamacca is one of the concrete options if they can include counterparts.
Scamacca (40 million) is more realistic than Nunez (80 million), as addition to Giroud (35) and Origi (28) in CF. Milan forward will be stronger with them. Other investments are also needed for a better No. 10 and more clinical right winger. It’s important to be protagonist in next UCL.
You forgot the most important of all of them. Ibrahimović. I think that Nunez at 80M is more realistic than Scamacca at 40M. He just doesn’t have the stats to cost that much.
Giroud is 36 this year and origi is 27. Lazetic is 18 so scamacca (23) is ideal striker for now.
Why is he “ideal” for us now? Because of his age? Lol. Way better players out there for that price. 40M is way to much for this kid who is still unproven and doesn’t show in big games. 20M ok. 40M? PASS. Besides like others have already commented we are unlikely to spend big on another striker as at best they would be 3rd choice to Origi and Giroud next season. Sign De Keletare as he can play BOTH CAM and striker (if needed)
I’d put him on the level of Belotti and we can get him for free. I’d love Milan to buy more Italian players but only the best ones. Zaniolo would be great for RW, he showed he is back from injury this season, no issues.
Scamacca for 40 is too much, he has raw talent that’s obvious but he’s not physical enough for his size and has to develop more to be worth 40. 25 or so with bonuses, sure.
Scamacca is NOT worth 40M lol. Only reason for that inflated figure is because he is Italian. Let Inter have him. He was invisible against us. For 40M buy De Keletare. Scamacca is another Borriello IMO. Can’t even beat out Immobile or others in the national team. Hard Pass on this kid.
Rumour has it that Dybala is interested to join inter for free. Maybe scamacca will join there too since he’s a fan of them.
