GdS: Milan player ratings for Udinese draw – Trio did well; Kessie criticised

After what was a rather poor performance last night, the AC Milan players weren’t exactly heaped with praise by the Italian newspaper this morning. In fact, most of them got very low scores in the columns.

Taking a look at Gazzetta Dello Sport’s ratings (see photo below), it’s clear that only a few players passed the test. Rafael Leao, the Rossoneri’s goalscorer, was the best one with a rating of 6.5, the same rating as Mike Maignan and Sandro Tonali got.

Davide Calabria and Fikayo Tomori got a 6/10 for their respective performance as they did well in defence. Meanwhile, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez only got a 5.5, with the motivation that the captain struggled against Deulofeu and the full-back didn’t do enough in attack.

Alexis Saelemaekers was also given a 5.5, coming off the bench in the second half. At 5, we have the likes of Junior Messias, Brahim Diaz, Olivier Giroud, Ante Rebic and the flop of the match, Franck Kessie. Stefano Pioli also got a 5 from the newspaper.

  1. Kessie’s mind is gone. He should only come on the last few minutes if we lead 3-0.
I can’t believe I am writing this but Krunic should be in front of Kessie until the end of the season.

Then those two- with Bakayoko- can leave.

    Sanches > Cashie
    Adli > Krunic
    Pobega > Bakayoko
